cold as ice as the world moves

forward to the next ride

no one to take advice from

lost in translation

no need for hesitation

I’ve got it backwards

You can read a book

Always show up on time

“Just breathe” what a bore

Always living life to beat someone else’s score

Walking a line or digging dirt

You will need to look elsewhere

You won’t find your answer out there

Trying to be somene else, I’m told

Down where no one else can feel it

Don’t force yourself to grow

any faster than nature will allow

That part you’ll never settled with

That ID, that ego, oh so many years ago

Time heals wounds not everyone can see

Give yourself the same chance

Change is inevitable, just a glance
