Gave your life in exchange for a bigger chance

Took time to break your own back

To protect us all

Giving all you had just to return

Bravery at its finest

I got the sun on my chest

fighting against what took me down

The next time they will see

They should have never given up on me

no one else seemed to have

To build me up, instead

they all watched me fall again and again

The world needs more like you

Bright guiding light

through any darkness or tears

No matter what I did

I missed the mark they said

I tried so hard to fit

Over here handing out life lessons

You went and throw out the dimensions

Gave me back my purpose

All the while telling me I deserved so much better

That laugh, that smile

Showing me a world full of magic

that bullshit trauma took away

It can be rebuilt,

like Rome, all in a day
