Oh how another year can bring

So many different things.

Insight, loss –

Just to name a few.

I’ve got my eye set on the prize.

The next horizon.

One day at a time,

More like new experiences –

to heighten the next life lesson.

I’m happy to report,

After all the glitter has landed –

I’m still here.

Present.

Not everyone will care –

Not all that care, matter.

To place another chapter under my belt,

I’m flattered.

I can honestly say, I didn’t think I would make it.

The road never gets any easier to navigate –

When you’re not the one driving.
