As you witness my inner teen healing –

My adult self grieves for her.

Its hard to remember happy when the memories flood in –

Always starts each sentence.

No sentiment.

Left in the cold to push through my own –

bullshit coming from all direcitons –

Oh my bad, sorry no cussing.

I am here for the kids.

To all, let this all be a lesson.

The hardest way will always be alone.

Don’t cut off your tribe before they make themselves known.

I thank my ancestors on a daily –

for granting me the confindence to know the difference.

The ripples I would make –

Just spreading joy where ever I go –

Not just another story to be heard –

no not mine.

I am special because I am me, just as you are you.

This world needs us all to mature.

Without us no future can be held.

What do you plan to leave behind –

your blood sweat and tears?

When will the masses see –

no capitalist system runs on empathy.
