No such thing as an easy choice

Someday you’ll have to choose

between the love you have

and the life you want

Into the grey I go

walking on my tippy toes

following the light that shines so bright

this dreamlike state is fleeting

I have a pocket full of sunsets

Rainbows in my hair

All I want to do is nothing you dare

Left alone to find my sole purpose

One told to me in a dream

A choice I’d have to make

Push forward, never turn away

I am who I am

I can’t take anything back from my past

Just dancing in the rain

Take me away

from the pain of yester years

To a place no one else can pernitrate

within my own state of mind

All the knowledge in the world

Can’t teach you all you need to know

Somethings come with experience

Other’s need a longer look
